Blood and Sand

A Crísdéan take on the classic Blood and Sand, balancing whisky, Dark Cherry Liqueur, vermouth and orange juice.

Ingredients

25ml Dark Cherry Liqueur
25ml Unpeated whisky, with Monkey Shoulder preferred
25ml Sweet vermouth
25ml Orange juice
Orange peel, to garnish

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a Boston shaker with ice and shake. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.Express the oils from an orange peel over the top, then twist and cut the peel to place on the rim.

Serving Suggestion

Serve chilled in a coupe for a classic-style cocktail with a rich cherry finish.
