Ingredients
40ml Alba Gin
10ml Bourbon
15ml Lime juice
10ml Demerara syrup
2 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
100ml Ginger beer
Pineapple leaves and lime wheel, to garnish
Instructions
Add all ingredients except the ginger beer to a Boston shaker with ice and shake. Open pour into a tiki glass, top with ice and ginger beer, then garnish with pineapple leaves and a lime wheel.
Serving Suggestion
This is a twist on the classic Suffering Bastard. For a version closer to the original, use equal parts gin and bourbon and substitute Peychaud’s Bitters for Angostura.
